We are conveniently located on Long Island only 65 miles east of New York City, at the Brookhaven-Calabro Airport in Shirley, NY. The airport is 800 acres with multiple runways for the airplanes and manicured grass for the parachutes. Skydive South Shore has modern offices in the main terminal building and a 3000 square foot hangar.
Skydive South Shore is the closest skydiving center to New York City. For those of you in the city who are thinking that skydiving in New Jersey would be easier, it definitely isn't. There is a closer option right here! Coming out to Long Island, there is less traffic to contend with and there are travel options with no tolls at all. And once you're out here, there are hundreds of options for entertainment, food, and overnight stays.
Skydive South Shore is a group member in good standing with the United States Parachute Association. Our fleet of airplanes and skydiving equipment is maintained to guidelines and rules set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration.
