About Us
Started in 1968 by Gene Paul and Ms. Billie Thacker with nothing but a dirt strip and a single Cessna 182, Raeford Aviation has catered to the needs of skydivers and aviation enthusiast for over 44 years. We are a privately owned airport that allows public use. Through the years, we have had no less than 20 182's, Twin Bonanzas, Porters, a Casa 212, and have now arrived at our current fleet of a PAC-750XL, a Twin Otter, and a King Air.
Since its founding PK Airpark has been home to numerous skydiving clubs and teams including the US Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights.
We are a Full Service Dropzone complete with a Skydiving School, Rigging Loft, Pro Shop, a beautiful grass landing area with covered packing, a swoop pond, RV and camping areas, and a full service bar and grill. We are a short 10-minute ride from the Paraclete XP Wind Tunnel, 20 minutes from Fort Bragg, and a short drive from Fayetteville.
