About Us:
Quad City Skydiving Center, Inc. is a safety oriented drop zone geared towards teaching beginners the exhilarating sport of SKYDIVING! We will instruct you all the way through being a licensed skydiver. This is done with a static line or AFF program that is set forth by the United States Parachute Association . During a static line jump the parachute is automatically deployed and you will enjoy 4 to 5 minutes of bird's eye view under canopy from 3,500 feet, in which you will be guided via a one way radio. During your first AFF jump two appropriately rated instructors will assist you through your freefall and then you will enjoy 4 to 5 minutes of bird's eye view under canopy from around 4,500 feet ,in which you will be guided via a one way radio. If you are more interested in doing a once in a lifetime jump, we will also be offering tandem jumps. On a tandem jump you will be connected to an appropriately rated tandem instructor. You will enjoy a 30 second freefall, followed by your 4 to 5 minutes of bird's eye view under canopy, and your feet back to the ground.
