Out of the Blue Skydiving operates at the highest standards and goes beyond what has become expected and reluctantly accepted at other drop zones.
Safety:
Safety is a top priority at Out of the Blue. Skydiving is considered an extreme sport and with that comes inherent dangers, but Out of the Blue minimizes the risks by adhering to strict safety standards set forth by the FAA and USPA. All of our skydiving equipment is maintained by an FAA master rigger and is inspected before each jump. Our landing area is large and free of obstacles with established landing patterns developed by expert skydivers.
Longest Freefall in Southern Colorado:
At Out of the Blue, we want you to get the most out of your experience, and that includes giving you more time to freefall. We'll take you to at least 10,500 feet above ground level weather permitting. That's really 15,900 feet above sea level making for the longest freefall in the area!

We love the sport of skydiving! At Out of the Blue, it's not just another day at work for our staff. It's another opportunity to share the amazing sport of skydiving with others. Our instructors are passionate skydivers and are held to the highest standards. All of our instructors hold their ratings with the USPA, but we don't stop there. Before working for Out of the Blue, instructors must pass our very own "check-out" skydives ensuring they meet our performance standards. We also perform pre-employment and random drug testing on all of our staff.

We'll know your name and our instructors will take time to talk with you before you actually jump. We really want you to experience the sport we love. To help accommodate you, our prices are among the lowest in the state for equivalent services. As a small token of our appreciation for your service, if you are active duty military, a firefighter or a police officer (must show current identification), you will receive our group pricing even if you're not in a group!
